This course is structured to help those with limited or no horse experience gain the valuable knowledge to start on their journey with horses! This course will give them the tools they need to be both safe and effective with horses both in the saddle and on the ground. Classes combine the science of horse care and the physical education of riding in a fun and informational format that builds on students skill sets in a linear fashion.
During this class students will learn in a small group setting. All early aspects about horses, their care, correct horsemanship, independent horse handling and the basics of riding will be covered.
This is a three month course that meets weekly on Tuesdays from 12 -2.
